Objective
This project attempts to redesign the browser, something that every internet user comes into constant contact with. As the internet grows, so does surveillance. This take on the browser forces the user to confront the surveillance age. The motif of eyes persistently reminds the user that they are being watched. The site is also concerned with privacy, revealing bits of personalized information at a time. Preview
Research & Inspiration
I wanted to derive from the architecture of the origins of the evil eye. This middle eastern style of architecture plays with the seen and unseen. They use long arches to transition from one room to another or sometimes, just as decorative elements. I took my color palette from this style of architecture. This style also utilizes geometry as decorative elements which is how I wanted to structure this site.
